Christmas Vacation

Hey guys!  Since my new video is out I got great feedback!  thanks you a lot.  For christmas we bought together (our family) a really huge TV.  Watching HD movies on is awesome!  I tried to watch my animations on and it's insane!  I am going to be gone for 10 days from now.  I'm celebrating new year in my grandmother's home.  But before that I'll be snowboarding  around Quebec city.  (where there is snow)  haha.


I wish you guys an happy new year,  I hope we'll animating as hell in 2011 ;)

My entry for AnimateClay.com is coming soon.  I want to make it perfect.  I have a couple of ideas in mind.  I want to make a storyboard or something.  Here's my finnal puppet.  I put aluminim paper inside.  It was really to heavy!

Gerald's Last Day

Guys.  I just receved the DVD I bought from Justin and his awesome family.  This totally blew my mind.  And I'm so glad to having buying it.  I wanted to do a little review of it.  Justin and Shel did an amazing job making it.  I enjoyed the film so much.  I animate.  I love animation.  And I know that when I see this there's so much work on it.

Thanks Justin and Shel to have made the special feature.  Because I'm following your Blog for about two months, and I wasn't that much into your world.  But with the special features, I could get a lot more into your familly and your stop motion project.

I totally love the expression of the character.  Espessially Gerald.  With the face replacement, it was pefect! The way lipsinc was done is really nice!  The set is amazing.  Seriously,  evrything was perfect, the sets was insane, puppets are genius and awesomly animated.  When I think that at the very begining you didn't know anything about stop motion animation and you bring the magical feeling I have when I watch a stop motion animation, but 100x better!  The easing in and out.  You was in perfect control of the timing.  Evrything was as it should be.

When Justin said the secret was taking care of each frame, I was crying of happiness.  That's what evry animator should know and do.

The foam latex looks amazing.  If it's that much amazing that you are saying I must check it out ;)

Justin, Shel and the others wonderful job.  Keep having fun.  Enjoying life and not sleep.  haha.

I just can't animate in my garage...  It's sad.

But not that much...

Blender 3D Animations Compilation

There's some of my works done with Blender 3D. They are all made a long time ago. I'm thinking to make others. My cumputer is super high speed now. I would probably be able to animate in Blender more easily.

Making an Armature! -UPDATE-

Well,  I'm done sculping it.  This is the result.  It look pretty amazing.

But, I don't think I'll be able to animate it.  Its not really stable that much.  It's heavier at the top than at the bottom.  Well I'll try to animate it.  But I think it will keep falling down and I'm gonna freak out.  haha.

Oh yeah.  I was going to forgot I used van aken on this one.  CRAP!  I can't belive people like to use that clay.  My hands was SO dirty.  It took five minutes washing my hands.  :(

I watched Coraline.  Well I've just finnished watching it.  ''Brillant''.  Serously it was really interesting.  I loved it.  I went to their website.  I watched the making of section and it was awesome.

Well I didn't work on it that much...  But I recovered the feet of clay.

I already tryed to make one not long time ago.  But it wasn't what I expected.  And I tried again, after watching tutorials, pistures and stuff.  Well I'm gonna show some pictures.  I'm gonna show more updates later.  It would be nice that it turn out not bad.  :D

The Infection -DONE-

The Infection! I've been working really hard on this animation for a month. It look pretty awesome. For my first storyline animation I find that is a really great start. I loved to shot this animation because I played with the effects and it turned out great!

More animations are coming. I'm thinking to make a chrismas one.

ITS ALMOST DONE!

I've shoted evrything.  I'm so happy!  I only have to add the sound effects left.  Seriously its awesome!

I just found an awesome song for my new animation, ''The Infection''.  It work really well with the animation.  I'll be finishing it before next week.  It'll be awesome.

Bad Super Power -UPDATE-

I've been taking a break of animating for a week.  I was a little bit busy with shcool and stuff.  I was having 30 seconds done.  now I have 32 seconds done.  WOW.  I know its not a lot after a week off.  Anyways it turn not exactly what I wanted.  I might re-shot those two seconds.  But the effect I want to create is awesome.  I hpoe it will be done this week.  I don't have a lot of shot left.  But the fact is that I have to find sound effects and music.  It should be the most exiting animation I've ever did.  It suposed to have a solid story, but I don't know.  It will probably end that the two clayguys mix togheter and start to morph.  HAHAHA.

Here I made a little animation.  But I didn't want to publish it as a final project.  So I put it unlishted.

I was a litle tired.  And I didn't want to work on ''Bad Super Power''.  So I quickly made this.

Recently I got an offer from YouTube for having partnership on a video.  Like this I could earn money from it.  And I was having all the rights on this video.  So I decided to apply.  And I got partnership on this video!  So I can earn money from it.  Its awesome.

Wires and Armatures!

I just bought those wires on a Cadadian Tire.  For experimenting on armatures.

I quickly made something with it.  I was exited.

I know it look awesome :D

But he is pretty big.  He would probably falling down at each frames.

Fighting vs The Blobs (DONE)

WOW. It turned out with awesome morphs! This claymation was supposed to be a little project. But it tuned amazing!

The story is the main character fighting really easily vs a bunch of blobs.  I post it like response for Sj's contest and Bagi08's one.  Might be cool.  I think its the firt time I don't use Mamshmam's claymen for my claymations.  I love this character.

The Orange Thing

There it is! Its finally there! My best claymation ever. There's about over 10 hours of work on this. Its been three weeks I'm working on it.

Yesterday  I worked 3 hours in photoshop to make this effect.  I had to edit each frame to not show what its not supposed to be show.  I worked 3 hours to 1 sec of film.  lol

I'm back from vacation!!!

Its been an awesome vacation!!!  having fun like hell.  I got few morghing idea in vacation.  I created them in animation creator for remember.  I'll make them in claymation and add in The Orange Thing :D :D.  ho yeah and I bought EZ shape,  Sculpey III,  FIMO, and a lot more.  I'm planing to make test after The Orange Thing will be done.

I will be gone for 12 days

Hey guys!  Its official I will be gone for 12 days.  I'm traveling to Ontatio.  I will skateboading and drink Ice Capp.  lol :D  It will be fun so wish me having fun.  :D  I will be back the August 17.  I will continiue to animating The Orange Thing when I'll come back.  so this will be my last update for 12 days.  Good bye!!
